Finally...

This stinking LO has been sitting on my desk for months, just annoying me because I was not liking how it was looking. Finally my sis in law was here last night (to scrap), and it came together totally different than I first thought it out. I like it much better, its a little Ali E inspired with the writing around the pictures rather than on a traditional journaling spot. I feel like I am learning so much about the ART side of scrapping lately through new books, magazines, blogs, (you know who you are!!) and more. Not like I am a "great" scrapper or ultra talented, or anything, but I am liking my stuff more, so thats good. Anyway, here is the LO...

Ah, the slacker finally updates her blog...

Ok, new LO to share. I love the pictures... can you tell what is going on? Older son is teaching younger son about the potty... I hid the journaling in the file folder because it is their actual conversation... it was hilarious to hear the actual instructions, "body parts" talk and all... LOL. (yeah, if you want to see that photo, e-mail me!!LOL) That's it for now... maybe one of these days I'll actually blog on my blog. :)

"neenan" lo to share...

Ah, to be young and have no fear of showing ones buttocks in public. I had to get a shot of this, sweeping naked... these will be brought out at a later date to embarass Emerson that's for sure!! The other one shows how much Em loves his big brother. He was taking him his lamb while he slept on the couch. When they aren't fighting, they are so sweet to each other!!

Finally got to scrap...

Nice work on the photo, eh... such a great crooked shot! At least you get the idea... :)

I am so glad I finally got to sit and scrap for a few minutes today. (Of course, this wasn't uninterrupted scrap time, but at least it got done!!) I ususally sit and do a BH type sketch of my pages, then have an idea in mind of what I want to use as far as PP, embellishments, ribbons, etc. Today, I jsut let this GREAT new BG paper be the guide. I LOVE the colors, and just started grabbing things from my stash that would look good. I love how it came out, especially since I love this picture of me and my DS. I usually journal alot too, so this is a total departure to just scrap one photo, and be done. It was fun, and it came together really quickly, so that's a plus! Thanks for looking...
